Pasta Aglio E Olio w/ Sun-dried Tomatoes and Basil

This meal is quite possibly the easiest and fastest one I've posted yet!  I'm a fan, a BIG fan of this simple pasta dish!  The original plan was just to make Pasta Aglio E Olio (garlic and oil), but as usual I couldn't leave well enough alone.  It's dangerous for me to have sun-dried tomatoes and basil on hand...I end up adding it to almost everything.  Try this yummy meal!  It's perfect after a long day of work - I think I had dinner ready in about 12 minutes, no joke!
Ingredients:
1 box of pasta cooked Al Dente - I used whole wheat Angel Hair
3/4 cup of extra-virgin olive oil
4 cloves of garlic - minced
1/4 cup of sliced sun-dried tomatoes
1/4 cup of fresh basil - chopped
Parmesan cheese for serving
Salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper (to taste)

Directions:
1.  Heat olive oil over medium heat until it starts to bubble.  Add garlic, stir and lower heat to medium-low.  Cook garlic for 2-3 minutes - stirring frequently.
2.  Add sun-dried tomatoes, basil, salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper.  Continue stirring for another 3 minutes then turn off the heat.
3.  After the pasta is strained, return it to a large pot and combine with the olive oil and sun-dried tomatoes.  Toss so pasta is evenly coated.  Serve with parmesan cheese.

  6. Yum!! I make this at least constantly! I add squash & peppers too for a little color, but I'm definitely going to try sun dried tomatoes next time!
